Yes I think it is easy to run a redlight. Thankfully, I have never been caught by the police. You know the way that the lights goes amber and you think you will make through the light before it goes red but then it goes red as you are going through but its too late to stop. Also if you are late for work or an appointment then it is so tempting to go through a red light.

It actually isn’t easy to pass a red-light. If the lights switched from green to red instantly it would be easy naturally, but it isn’t, there’s a light in-between which warns you to slow down, if you’re in to much of a rush to care you’ll go through when there is no need to and therefore run the risk of running a red-light and putting other drivers in danger.
It's not the police you need to worry about, it's the car ramming into your side/front.

I have done it by accident when I didn't time the yellow light properly. I have never done it on purpose though. I consider myself a reasonably safe driver, though by no means an excellent driver. But while on the road I do criticize other drivers who I think don't seem to understand the rules of the road. No road rage though.
