My best Christmas present this year wasn't material. It was seeing all the family and their kids, and their kids' kids, all together, the smiling faces, the laughter and the love that came together, was magic. You don't realise how quickly the little ones grow until you see them all together, after four months away from them. There's something about it that touches the heart... and the awe on their faces when opening their presents, is the best gift in the world.

You're welcome, I'm sure. D'you know, I think I could well do without presents when I have all my family and good friends around me, especially the kids. Just to be warm and have enough to eat and make the Christmas tradition special for them. It beats all the commercialism.

Yes, being able to have all your relations and friends, especially at this time of year, is a real bonus to lifes gifts of happiness.

I dont have kids n I luv them very much. The best gift this year on Christmas was that My Sis came to my house surprisingly with her kids on Christmas eve. I was quite surprised when I saw that she bought along with her Cakes n Pastries. And my brother-in-law was dressed as Santa!

I liked all of my christmas gifts this year. Think my favorite though is the mothers necklace I got from my brother and sister in law. Its a gold platted chain with a heart pendant. At the top of the heart is my birthstone and then it has my daughters birthstone charm on the bottom. It was a complete surprise.

I would have to say that my best Christmas present this year was being in my new home with my partner. It's the first house we have bought and although we were first time buyers and the house we bought was empty, it still took us 6 months from the offer being accepted to moving in. I'm so happy that our money is going somewhere now rather than being wasted on rent, it's an investment. But if that's cheating (because we moved in about a month before Christmas), then i'd have to say my best Christmas present was the hamster that my partner bought me. She's gorgeous.

A new home and a new cuddly friend. Who could ask for anything more at that time of year. Such nice presents that will bring memories that will last forever.

Well, I did receive a lot of nice Gifts this yr. Most of what I got, was what I was really wanting, and it is nice to see how much people care. I received a Foot Soak Massage thing from my Sister, and I think this is one of my Favorite gifts this yr, and will really use this one. I have always wanted one. They are just so hard to find except at Christmas time.

That is fantastic! I would love a Foot Soak Massage because the feet do get taken for granted and giving them a pamper can make all the difference.

Sometimes I have given money as a present in the past because I feel that they appreciated more that they bought something that they needed. Apparently the most unused gifts cosmetics, soaps ,aftershave etc are still left in the wardrobe from last year. lol
