appartment for 2 or 4 students

I am looking for a place to stay during my 6 month internship in London (Zone 1, 2) Me and three other students want to rent a flat or appartment were we can stay with the four of us. We are starting our internship on the 8th of January 2007. If it is not possible to stay somewhere with 4 persons, then we can split up and find to places for both 2 persons. We really want to live in Central London because that is were the hotels are situated were we have to do our internships.
