Plums

I do love plums! Although I am not aware of the English plums you are referring too. But I think it would be as delicious as the black and the Spanish plums we have back here. I remember when I was a child we usually climb plu trees just to get some of the plums. It is really delicious. I really like dipping them in salt.

I love plums, I truly do! I wished that I could come to UK to pick a lot of plums, I know that I would enjoy doing so. Eating plums during the summer season is so very fun. I love eating plums when they are cold and ripe.

Plums are good for you. We have had them off and on for many years. Will soon have plum trees in our orchard in the next few year!! Is suitable for canning, freezing and preserving into jams and jellies, also made into great desserts, my favorite being a tart. There are three different types belonging to the European, Damson and Japanese groups, the European is supposed to be best for my area here in Ohio. Damson ones can grow here but are tart so used mostly for desserts. I can't wait to try the Pluot, a cross between the plum and apricot.
