Plums

English Plums - We once stayed in a caravan site where they had a plum tree. The fruit was in season and there were loads of plums just falling on the ground. How I enjoyed picking and eating them every day, and it was for free!

Thanks for your reply. Yes it is a pity that some people have to buy it. In my country especially, since plums don't grow here, we need to import them, therefore very expensive.

I lover plums. We have moved to an area that is cool enough to grow them and a neighbour gave us a bucket full of blood plums this year. They were beautiful.

Hi. emilieespino. Yes, I do love plums. I love red and black plums both. I am not sure if I have ever tasted the original English plums though. I would love to taste them because plums are my favorite type of fruit to eat.

No I haven't tasted the original English plums. But I do like the black and the Spanish plums we have here that are very much in season during summer. It is really delicious. I really like dipping them in salt. I prefer them big and firm.

Yes, I love them. But best eaten off the tree. By the time the market gets them, they are not as good, or frozen.

I like plums very much, i like most fruits. I also like all the hybrid fruits that are being grown these days, which involves plums quite a bit in the combinations, such as Pluots.(Plums bred with apricots).
