Are Asian countries Prepared for another tsunami?

Researchers on warned that within the next few decades, another large-scale tsunami could flood densely populated areas of western coastal Sumatra, who's south was completely devastated by the December 2004 tsunami.The computer modeling determined that two river valleys near Bengkulu, a coastal city of about 350,000 people, could experience flooding up to several kilometers inland.

I was wondering this myself.I have not heard that anything was put into place to warn these people if there is another tsunami.I just pray that something was done to warn them the next time.

I hope so. In fact I think UN must set up an tsunami sensing stations with the aid and coordinated efforts of all the countries which are susceptible to it .

i think the next tsunami is going to happen when global warming has reached it's peak and the earth can no longer bear it's influences

Well tsunami normally occurs when there is an earthquakes in the sea floor. This is something we cannot avoid unlike the global warming
