1. The wizard of Oz (The wicked witch of the west, and those stupid monkeys)
2. Willy Wonka and the chocolate Factory (Don't ask me why it just did)
3. It's Alive (The cloaw hanging from the baby basket)
4. Gremlins ( The bad gremlins were just scary looking and gross)
5. Dumbo (the pink elephants)

nightmare on elmstreet(the first one). That guy having knives for fingers scared me tremendously. Not only was I scared to go to sleep, I thought about him for a long time too. It seamed he was in my daydreams too. That was on truly scary guy.

I love all the nightmare on elm street movies, I have to admit they scared me a little when I was younger.

Movies that scared me as a kid? Oh there were a few. Jaws, couldn't go swimming for a long time. Friday the 13th, being 12 and having to go to camp a few months later, not a good combination. Halloween, even cut up on regular tv scared me. The Shining. The way some of the scenes were left me scared to go anywhere at night. The last, The Changeling. Great movie but it scared me as a kid. Still gives me goosebumps at times.

My main one was Invasion of the Body Snatchers (I can't remember which version, but to this day I don't want to watch it). The other big one was Amityville Horror. I was too young to see it in the first place and I don't think I ever got through it. I was under a crocheted blanket the whole time peeking through the holes in the blanket.

I actually LOVED to watch scary movies when I was a kid---but there are only 2 that caused me to sleep under my covers:
1- CreepShow
2- IT
My daughter loves to watch scary movies and has always been fascinated with them ever since she was 5. My boys---no way!

I loved them too when I was young and I still do, Nothic most of mine that scared me weren't supposed to have that effect.

I only had one that scared me as a child.I watched it when I was maybe six years old.The original"The Blob" with Steve McQueen.It seems really stupid now,but it scared the crap out of me then!I love horror movies,but to this day I don't put my feet on the floor when I one!lol
