Pay Online Using Credit Card

While I do a lot of my payment online but at times I get uncomfortable especially when I am asked to punch in my social security number. Do you think its advisable to share ones social security number.

No I don't think you should put in your social security number. If you are just making a purchase you should never have to put your credit card number and your social security number in too. That seems a little fishy to me. You have to also make sure you are on a secure web site and make sure you have good security on your pc too.

I wouldn't give my SS# out online unless it was something to do with my own banking or credit cards.
If I was simply buying something online, I would never give out my SS#, what do they need it for when they have my credit card information?
