Currently I have a website that offer custom scrapbooks they mail me their photos and I develop them a scrapbook that goes with their theme, I was trying to figure out if I should offer other service like supplies and maybe a way for them to upload their photos rather than mailing it in. So what can I offer or add that would draw more customer to my website?

Offering anything that will make it easier for your customers is always a great idea. Also offering related items for sale will help get you more revenue. Offering supplies might get you customers that wnat to do their own scrapbooks.

Yes trying to get the paper work done and correct is a pain but if it works its well worth the effort it takes.

I have started a scrapbooking business as well. I have not established my website just yet. I would only offer the option of uploading photos only if you have a quality photo printer. I personally do not like pics printed out by a photo printer. Some lose their quality. I guess it just depends on what kind you have. It would be an option to save on shipping pics to you and they would only have to pay for the final finished product. What's your website address? I'd like to check it out. What state are you in? I am in Jacksonville, Alabama. My business' name is Added Dimensions.

Maybe you could add to the space you have on your website and offer online photo albums where the customers can upload pics, you can organize into a sort of online scrapbook, and they can share the images with friends via the internet. You could get creative fees up front and perhaps a subscription fee as well. Or you might want to just package it all up together to make it more attractive than customers having to pay each month. If you wanted to sell supplies, maybe you could also produce gift items (t-shirts, mugs, etc) personalized with photos?

Why not go into the DVD picture slide shows where you can have the different affects and favourite music in the background, an friend of mine did it for another friends wedding, it wa absolutely beautiful and it is not hard to do if you have the right program.

Check out the yahoo photo items and other personal sites like that. I have had pics made into mugs, shirts, plates. I don't know what you can afford to do, but you may be able to bank off of things like that if you can figure out how to get them made!

I think you all have some wonderful ideas! I have been thinking about doing a business like this also currently I do it a little on the side but mainly I just direct sell for TLC. Have you thought about gift ideas that use photos. Like boards books, photo coasters, things like that.

Just make sure you show lots of examples of pages that you've done on your site. What a wonderful business!
