Ladies!!! Do you shave before visiting your OB/GYN?

I always feel to weird going to an OB/GYN and I spend almost all morning cleaning, shaving and perfuming down there before a visit. The last thing Id like is for the doctor to make a joke about my unkept private parts.
What is your routine before going to a doctor's visit?

knowitallgirl, you are funny. As a women, I usually take a shower before leaving to go to the ob/gyn. After taking a shower, I rub cream on my inner-thigh's, just to make sure..lol. I want to make sure, everything is normal and if my appointment is early in the morning, I want to be the 1st patient and a nice smelling patient. Oh yeah, I trim a couple of days before, and shave my legs the night before.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to "perfume" myself. Not sure what you mean by perfume, btw. I think it's best to go in freshly and thoroughly showered and at the very least trimmed before I go in for my annual checkup :) I am most certain that OB/GYNs see a wide variety of women with a wide variety of hygiene habits. I would just rather not appear to have made a huge effort to mask what is my natural, clean scent because what if the chemicals you use mix with your scent to create a not-so-pleasant smell?

If you have a doctor who jokes about your, then report him or her. That is unethical and against the proper code of conduct. Now, having said that, I too clean like a mad freak. I do not whip out a razor and shave the whole thing. I tidy up, but I don't go hairless.

LOL...I dont go hairless either but I make sure that Im "tidyed Up" like you said. I dont think that the doctor would make a joke about me in front of me. Im talking about behind my back.
