I am working on a project in Excel and am stuck trying to alphabetize an entire line using only the first column as the subject to be alphabetized. Can it be done?????

your requirement will be fulfilled by using the feature called MERGING CELLS , get help from help menu and search it.

Thank you for your response. Have looked up the HELP menu, of course...and have tried merging cells, but that tells me that there are too many data values and if I merge I will only be able to keep the first one. That is an unacceptable venue.
