I just got a new sewing machine for christmas and would like to get back into the swing of things. Its been years since I've used one. Any good websites or tips you know of?

Here is another site for your list. www.sew.org Have fun relearning. Its like riding a bicycle once you learn you never really forget. Best advise just get on and start sewing preferably something with straight edges until you are comfortable with your new machine. Or just use some scrap materail and play around for awhile.

Okay thanks I will check it out! Yeah I'm hoping I will pick it back up quickly again. I have some stuff to play with. My mom gave me some stuff for a mock quilt. Its pre printed material that looks like quilting...and then the batting and some solid fabric for the back. She figured that its a simple project and I can play with stich settings making it look quilty sewing between the mock pattern. (does that make sence? haha) It should be fun!
