no it is not like that there are some who loook after their older generation, but the present some scenerio are like that because they want to earn money want to finish all work fast are not ready to take too many risks and responsibilties, when older people cant go out and bring something they ask younger when younger is busy in his own lifestyle the difference starts there thats create rift.

I don't agree. May be there are few youngsters which don't respect elders but there are still many youngsters which are still good with there elders and respect them and I too give respect to all the elders.

it's not applicable for all... but yeah some people do just because they lack the social sense....

I think that there are a lot of people which restpect the older generation. but the others have a problem because their education is poor.

You know you are very right. There are lot of times when my aunt tells us how they used to be when they were still young and how much they respect the elders. i don't know what happened to our generation, why did we became like this, maybe because of the media that we see since we are still child that marks in our mind, the soap operas, the cartoons, the celebrities we try to act like them. And the new technoligies and how fast information can be transferred that we became too much smart that we think that we have outwitted our parents or the leders. Maybe also because of the lifestyle today where are lot of new things are offered like not before that all they do is study. What do you think.

I think the parents are responsible for this. They do not discipline their children at a younger age. This affects their entire character and their approach towards others, including elders. Parents of older generation were strict and disciplined their children well and made it a point to imbibe some values into their children.
