Here in the Philippines, it's called Pinoy Bistek, the tagalog term for beefsteak. I love this viand made from the meat of beef, chopped thinly and mixed with a sauce. Please check this recipe, you might like to try:INGREDIENTS: ½ kilo beef sirloin (cut into 3 " strips) 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons calamansi juice 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper cooking oil 1 big red onion (sliced thinly to make rings) HOW TO COOK: Marinate beef in soy sauce, calamansi, salt & pepper for 30 minutes. In a pan, heat oil and stir-fry beef until cooked and tender. Set aside Saute onion rings in oil. Serve beef in a platter topped with onion rings.

I love Beefsteak as well because it was really easy to cook and prepare. I just want to add that if you like the meat to be tender easily you must put yhougurt on it. And also there are available marinate sauce in the market if you like to save time and energy.

I like beefsteak, if it's steaky and well-cooked.

good recipe. I don't like much about beefsteak but I have eaten before in my friend's house that I really like the taste so from then I had eaten beefsteak already. What I hate it before is not softly cooked.
