Women Empowerment - A distant dream

The Indian Government has been doing a lot for overall improvement of the women's condition but our attitude still remains one of discrimination and injustice against women. They are still considered the " Woe of Society" the unwanted burden".The position of women in Indian Society has not undergone any radical transformation despite of immense technological advancement and development of modern ideas and sentiments

It's true to an extent that the position and lifestyle of women has seen a radical change, but our attitude remains largely the same. I think this approach can change if we can cultivate in us self respect. self respect gives us moral character and an opportunity to respect others alike.
