Emergency Exits.

If someone was unable to accept their seat in the emergency exit seat on an aircraft, would you accept the responsibilty of being in the exit seat? Why or why not?

when my boyfriend and i flew from cebu city to davao city last month, we near the emergency exit door of an aircraft. this old woman asked to exchange seats with us. and my boyfriend with all his courage took the seat from the old woman. but the travel was safe and it was good for us.
