They say deaths come in three's. Well, James Brown, somebody else who died on Christmas and now Gerald Ford. The man was the only person to ever serve as president and to never be elected! He took over as VP for Spiro T. Agnew during the Nixon presidency and then became president when Nixon resigned. His wife was Betty Ford, of Betty Ford Clinic. She is an alcoholic. Ford gave Nixon a full pardon for Watergate.

Rest In Peace Indeed. President Ford was a man of integrity who spoke his mind and did what was right. During his speech to the nation after assuming the Presidency he said "I am indebted to no man and only one woman" speaking of his wife. That in a nutshell describes President Ford. he did what he thought was right as he so often did during his 14 years in the House of Representatives. President Ford will always be remembered for the one thing that cost him the election with Carter- The Pardon of Richard Nixon. This was a great move to put a long ordeal behind the country and to stop any more talk and scheming about it. Rest in Peace Good Sir. Rest in Peace.
