School Transfer - HELP!

I have a 5th grader who goes to school in Oregon - we are moving to Washington within the next couple of months. Was wondering what the requirements are in order to get him started into another school? Papers I should bring?

call the school board to first see which school they will attend and when I moved just depending on the schools policy his old school faxed his records so I wouldn't have to worry about keeping up with them durring the move.

Youshould bring his report cards, shot record, birth certificate, social security card, and proof of where your new residence is. You may also want to call the school in the area you will be moving to and find out if they have any other requirements.
