I can vouch for sure that the dog is man's best friend. Not cats though!!!! A cat just bit my daughter a couple of days ago and she still is in shock over it. A dog wouldnt have done it becuase it just drove the cat away after it attacked my daughter!!!!

Not really. Nature just destroyed half of three states in the form of Katrina. So nature is not always mans best friend.

NATURE is doing it's job.Otherwise the total univese will be filled with over population of living creatures.I am telling about beautiness of nature. In this universe we will get bore by observing/enjoying a particular object including man/weoman.But in case of nature it's not happend.

Humor alert: Oh Come on I can be a Mans Best friend if you let me? As Far as Nature Verses man Goes. The Reason the Hurricanes are getting stronger is the earth is getting warmer a hurricanes natural purpose is to help cool off the ocean and land temperatures..... Nature destroyes not to attack man, Nature destroys so that things maybe cleanses, reknewed and rebuilt.... Any Animals of Nature can be mans best friend, if we get to know them. I work with weather spirits, and I know Katrina was not anymore meant to harm people no more then a person who is raking their lawn means to wreck and aunt house or crush invisible bugs they are unaware of. - DNatureofDTrain (A Friend of the Thunder Spirits, and Nature.)

dogs are mans best friend.but not all dogs, because a pack of stray dogs are always dangerous.you cant go and pet a totally stray dog either.there are chances that it will also probably attack you.

Cats don't bite unless they are provoked...dogs will bite provoked or not.. Some breeds are more child freindly than others and some are just mean...

Not true! My husband had a cat a few years ago, and I was sitting with her in my lap, stroking her fur, and she was purring away, and drooling, which she did when she was happy. All of a sudden, she bit my arm twice before I could get her off my lap. Needless to say, she was banished from the house after that!

Dogs are by nature more loyal and obedient. Try telling a cat what to do!!

I have had worse dog bites than I have cat bite...I don't think a cat has ever bitten me, but have been bitten by a dog many times...

any animal that can, may bite...I believe it is the individual animal/owner or combination of the two...for the record, I have 6 cats and 2 sixty pound dogs...I have had them all from a very young age, all indoor only, and none of them have ever bitten anyone...just depends on the situation and animal involved...

Both Cats or Dogs will bite a child if they feel threatened or cornered by them.. I have watched cats or dogs do warning nips or attack not understanding the children, and also watched it the other way around. Mosto f the time if I am withihn distance, I will step between them and guide them away from eachother... but when you are stepping into the room or about 30 feet away and the other person who is watching their child is stupid enough to allow the child to handle animals in a bad way, well bad things are going to come of it.... Dogs would have biten and they do bite. All animals, even people will bite if provoked enough... Just be careful if your daughter is younger then 5 its best to never allow her around any animal unsupervises they can easily misunderstand eachother. Unless your child is exceptional in telepathy.... and can communicate with animals as I could. The Younger they are the faster they can be intimidating to an animal. - DNatureofDTrain I joked with my family and Said when humans see baby animals we all run up and goo awh how cute ..... But when Animals see Baby humans. They all look at eachother like.. Should we run and hide? Or give this a try? .... My Cats and kittens all run and hide when Baby Humans show up :) ... I am with them.. ::hides:: :) - DNatureofDTrain

I love dogs! I really do not like cats though. They don't seem to be as friendly as dogs, and they have to go to the bathroom inside all the time(I'm sure you can train them to go outside, but the norm is inside) and it makes your house smell :(
