Domestic violence, asult: who is to blame? Men I guess.

Hey friends, I read so many postings about domestic violence, asult and abuse of married and single women alike. May I ask who is to blame? Women? No. I think women are innocent. Men are to blame rather. Please give your views and let me know if am wrong.
