Second Half of the season for Lost. Excited?

Is everyone else as excited as I am, that we are this much closer to the second part of this seasons Lost episodes? I didn't like at all that they went on a "vacation" between season segments, and that fans have had to wait so long for the rest of the episodes this year. I guess the intent was to build up the excitement level, and originally they were scheduled to go up against American Idol in the time-slots. ABC moved Lost to 10pm for the Spring episodes though, in order to not lose viewers. Do you think that the show will do as well at a later time-slot? Will the episodes keep getting better? Maybe you even think Lost has run its course? I am interested in hearing about how people think the second half will do.

I am so hooked on lost and I cant wait for it to come back! Although, I am pissed off at the people in charge of the show for taking such a long break just because they can. I think it is really taking advantage of us. They know that we are hooked and cant stop watching, so they feel that they can do whatever they want and they wont loose ratings because we are all eagerly awaiting the return, and they are counting on that. It made me mad last season when they had so many reruns and recap episodes for no apparent reason except to gain more viewers. Dont get me wrong, I love the show and am counting down the days until it comes back, but I think the politic of it suck. I have never heard of another show working like this with the breaks and reruns durring regular season. I just dont know how they get away with it. I think it was a good idea to move the time though, and I really dont think the loyal viewers will mind waiting up an extra hour one night a week. This is why I have a DVR! I know this season will be better than the last, and I refuse to miss it!

Yeah I agree that the break is upsetting! Hopefully this means that when it gets back the episodes will be really good!

I'm very anxious for the return of Lost. I would much rather that they take one long break than have reruns every couple of weeks like they did last year. I think Lost will do well in a later time slot. I don't think Lost has run it's course. I'm just as interested in it now as I have been since the first episode. Lost and 24 are the only tv shows my brother watches....that's how picky he is. lol. My son only watches Lost and ER.

You are sooo right. I am more for waiting than dealing with repeats and trying to figure out if I missed an episode...lol

I think that at the later time-slot they will be able to get away with more. I am really jonesing for any new shows. I can't wait to see what happens. I love Kate and Sawyer! I hope they stop with some of the weird crap.

I am really excited for the second half of Lost. Personally, I like the time slot change, because I like watching shows later at night. Of course, I am a night owl though. My boyfriend is a little bit disappointed though because we doesn't think he will be able to watch it; he has to be up for work at 5:30 in the morning. Even though I do think the actual tv rating will go down a little bit, I don't think that too many people will stop watching the show. Especially since you can watch episodes free online or download them from itunes. If my boyfriend isn't able to stay up and watch an episode, that is what he is plannign on doing.

I can not wait for it to come back on the air.I even got the hubby into watching it.At first he thought the show was kinda dumb, he had not watched it when he said that. Now he's counting the days.I did not know that the time slot had changed though.I hope that the second half does not disappoint.

I love Lost, and it doesn't really bother me that they pushed the time back. But on other Lost forums I have read a lot of people complaining about the later time. Most saying that they will now be unable to watch the show because it is to late for them because of work, school ect. So I do think it is going to have a negative effect on the ratings

Although Lost can get on my nerves sometimes I am addicted. There is no way I'll be able to stop watching this show as long as it's on air. I don't think it's ran it's course yet, but I think it couldn't hurt to move a little bit faster then it has been moving this season. The ten time slot doesn't bother me at all because most of the time I can't sleep anyway. Hopefully they will be able to get away with more stuff now it's at a later time. It may lose some viewers because of the late time, but then again it may gain some too. I know my friend missed Lost a lot because he got off work at nine. Now he'll be able to get off work, and get home in time to actually watch it when it's on. So situations like that might balance it all out.
