Anyone Remember Mrs Beasly. The doll that talked and you took her every where. I had one but I think my mother sold in on a garage sale when I out grew dolls. I should have kept her. She's worth some money now, she a collectors item.

I remember Mrs. Beasly! Someone I knew had one... if I could just remember who it was. I also remember Mrs. Beasly being the favored doll of Buffy on the tv show "Family Affair". My mom loved to buy dolls for me and my sister. I had one called "Tippy Toes" that could ride a bike, drive a pedal car, or walk and push along a little toy horse. Then there was one called "April Showers"... she came with her own little bathtub and shower and all -- she was cute :) My sister had one called "Saucy Suzie" (I think!). You cranked her arm and each time, she made different faces. They were HILARIOUS... if not just a tad creepy LOL Mom always kept the dolls that "did things" as she believed they would be very valuable someday. Unfortunately, she kept them in an old steamer trunk (without any of the original packaging, which always makes them more valuable) and they got discolored, dirty and even a bit mildewed. Such a shame too after her keeping them around for all those years.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers. I just couldn't remember the name of the show. After reading your comment it all came back to me. I also had a baby tender love doll. My mother didn't keep any of our dolls. I have all my girl's barbies stored away. They have so much I could open up a museum. LOL

LOL! Barbies were never very popular with my girls... I tried buying them, of course, but they didn't seem to enjoy that type of play. I wish that I still had some of our original Barbies (Mom had kept those too!). I remember one in particular that had the black and white swimsuit! Do you collect anything else besides dolls?
