Why waste a first round pick

If you watch the Lions Game against the Bears you may already know what i'm saying. Well the last couple of seconds Kitna threw a pass to Mike Williams (a first round pick) and had it in his hands and dropped it for the game winning touchdown. It was his 4 or 5 drop of game. Why waste a first round pick on a horrible wide reciver instead of a good up and coming QB? Because we could really use one if you know what i mean.

Let's hope they get one next year. I can't believe they blew their #1 pick standing by winning against Dallas though!! They lose against every team they should beat, and somehow beat every good team. Crazy.

Although Calvin Williams is a phenom wide receiver, I agree that we have other areas to address. We need to take Joe Thomas at offensive line. Why take a QB when you can't protect him? If Kitna had a line the sky would be the limit. He had 21 TD's and 4200 yards with a pathetic line.
