God him/herself is not inhernetly good or bad, it's the people who subscribe to the religion. More atrocities have been committed in the name of god and religion than in the name of anything else. It's a sad, sad fact. So in that sense, yes, evil has come from god in the form of people using god's name to justify their evil acts.

I disagree..no evil can come from God..God gave us our wills..even we misuse them..it is not God..It is us turning away from the Goodness God has given us..we choose evil over good.+

You are focusing on the old testament..which was the time before Jesus..they had a primitive idea of God..Jesus came to enlighten the eyes of the blind..taught love of even one's enemies:)+

But people use God as an excuse for their crimes. They say 'god told me to kill all these people' and 'I was doing what god wanted'. Even in the Bible, God is described as 'cruel and terrible'. Arguments can be made that evil does come from God - and even by your argument, god gave mankind freewill, so man's actions eventually lead back to god.
Not saying I believe that, just making the argument.

I just lost one of my freelancing jobs and along with it an unpaid amount of $800. I still believe that God is good all the time because
-maybe HE doesnt want me to mess up with that company
-that company has been able to help me realize that there are a lot of opportunities waiting for me

God is so Good and I cannot praise him enough for all he has done for me. He has healed me from severe Health issues, and just keeps on making my life so much better.

Yes, I definitely agree. But there are some points in my life that I find myself wondering if God cares for me as much as He cares for others who are successful in all aspects of their lives.
