Has anybody heard of this? Blood type and diet

I have heard recently that the type of blood you have should effect the type of food you eat or rather require. For example if you are A type it means Agra and it means you would be well suited to be a vegan. O types are omnivores and can eat anything... This seems crazy to me. Anybody else know anything about this?

This is an idea that's been around quite awhile. My mother follows this plan and I've read the book but don't follow the plan because what the Dr suggests for my blood type isn't really good for my blood sugar. The Dr. who wrote the book, Eat Right for Your Blood Type, has a website about this. You can read more about the diet here: http://www.dadamo.com/ I find it pretty interesting even though I don't follow the diet. The book is good, though!

My boyfriends sister had a book about this. She went around telling everyone what they should eat according to their blood type. I didn't pay much attention to it because I thought it was a bunch of bull. So all I know is there is a book somewhere that explains it all. Sorry, I can't remember the name of it.

I have heard this, but I never tried it, and I don't know if I believe it or not. I don't think I am really an omnivore, in that I could eat anything and lose weight. I definitely need to be careful what I eat and I need to exercise.
