I'll be laid-off tomorrow. I'm trying to respond to my responses. I can't even think, I'm so upset. How did you react when you were laid-off?

Yes...I was a single parent raising two children, going to school and had a mortgage to pay. I had to sell my house and move, but in the end I have no regrets because it helped me to get where I am today. Out of the polluted city in the beauty of the mountains and enjoying my life! So hang in there! One door closes another one opens..

I`m so sorry. Hope everything works out for the best. Are you going to be okay? I understand. I`ve never been laid off but I`ve gotten close enough times to getting fired that I would always quit. I did that with about three jobs! I`m horrible I know. but I`m not good at keeping jobs that I don`t like so I would miss a lot of work and then quit before i got fired. but now my boyfriend gets paid enough where i can just be a stay at home mom.

yes it hurts when you get laid off especially if you have kids and a husband. The bills get tighter. But in your situation you only have to hold out for a month and hopefully unemployment will be speedy with their paperwork to help you in the meantime. I know all about staying on mylot too much and not getting the housework done..my kids and hubby hopefully will fire me and hire it done..lol. Not a chance but wishful thinking. I wish you the best of luck in the coming days and remember God never shuts a door before another opens with a greater opportunity. Keep the faith and you will be okay.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have never been laid off so I can't relate. Maybe you should look into unemployment. I wish you the best of luck.

I was only laid off once. I was really ticked off. The next morning, I filed for unemployment and started looking for another job.

I know it makes the money situation tight but I looked at it asa if It were a paid vacation unless you are layed off perm. I have been laid off and took voluntary lay off both It gave me time to get things done at home that were long neglected Good luck to you. You do know you can draw unemployment I hope
