What will you do if you have a friend who's into drug addiction?

I have a childhood friend who is little by little losing his life because of prohibited drugs. I have advised him several times to get out of it but he can't. What will you do if you are his friend?

The best way to help your friend is to refer him to an institution where he can get professional help. It would be futile to think that he will heal himself. Have a talk with him and convince him to get professional help. This would be the hardest part for you.

yeah that's true, you should convince him to take the proper action of seeking professional help from a rehabilitation center. It takes sometimes to let him decide for himself so he will know the extend of his actions, not to push too much.

I hope he really listens to me well and he is still sane enough to know the logic of my advices or else I really have to bring him personally to a rehab center.
