Should trying to suicide should be a crime before law?

Do you agree with the current law structure which give penalty to trying to suicide. Give me ur views. In india, tring to do suicide is a crime.

yes i do think that thats a ccrime..because in one way its also taking one's life....and we are not supposed to kill ourself no matter what happen...if every body can do it in their hard times,then there would be no population in this world...
