It is very surprising that as winters creep in, I tend to get depressed. I have thought about this so many times that is the cause of depression due to winters or something else? I found that it is the season that affects me. I am interested in knowing is it only me who suffers from this or there are others also over here who suffers from this problem!

winter depression is called "daylight deficiency". we tens to be more inside and with only short time outside with natural day light. "Beginning in 2007, daylight savings time will be extended by almost a month. This additional amount of daylight may also help extend the life and health of people's teeth and bones. That's because vitamin D, also known as the "sunshine vitamin," is made by the body through casual and minimal sun exposure." Medical news

It is called Seasonal Affection Disorder. You can look it up. Sometimes people even get it during the summer too. The symptoms are not the exact same as regular depression so research it

No, I've heard that seasonal depression is quite common. And depression around holidays is common also.
