building your own computer is better than buying one that is completely set-up for you. why? because you can personalize your hardware by choosing the hardware that you like best. and above all it's fun.

I think that it's better to build your own computer that way you can put in the stuff that you want and make sure that it is fit to your specifications.

That may be the case if you know what you are doing but us novices want a computer with a guarantee that it is going to work when we switch it on plus if it goes wrong, we can take it back for repair or exchanged for a new one. Most new computers have the necessary specifications necessary for most needs so a plug and go is more suitable to me.

I believe its better to build your own, that way you can be more specific about what you need. Like if you wanna make it just a normal home PC or a gaming PC

If you have the knowledge of computer hardware, don't need warranty and technical support, then it's best to build one. Infact you will have component warranty so you can replace it within the warranty period. It's a risk but worth it. First it's cheaper if we assemble our own, second, we get what we want according to our needs. We can adjust the budget and get better components for the other which is not possible in branded computers. Upgrades are also very expensive in case of branded. Personally I prefer an assembled PC.

If you have a knowledge in computer hardware it would be better to assemble your own pc. It would be much cheaper and you could choose the specs you like. In a pre assembled pc which you could buy in a pc store you can't choose the component and specs you want and it is more expensive since they incorporate the service charge to the total price.

Yes, i required you to build a computer rather than to buy a built one coz if you build your computer you know what part of your computer is damage and you choose a price that fits to your money. While if you buy a built one, the cost is, you will upgrade it then buy some parts.

i have been a technical support before so for me, it's better to build a computer because i get to choose the specific hardware fit for my personal needs. but if i have the money to buy a new computer, why not, i'll buy a new computer and then modify it.

It is better to build or assemble one if you know how to do it. This way you can configure the resources according to your liking. This is cheaper than buying an already assembled computer.

I think it is better to build your own computer. I mean, shop for individual parts for your PC. That way, you are sure of everything that will go into your system. This may cost a bit higher than those pre-made PC systems, but this way, you only get to have the best possible parts. =)

if you build one u got to make sure all the parts that u are gona put together are compitable, even if a part is good if it is not compitable with other parts u cannot use it to its full capacity or vice versa,so if u dun have that knowledge of hardware yet u be better of buying a pre-build and which u also enjoy after sale services and customer care. however building one yourself is fun and teaches u about hardware it is not hard to do , and u can fix somethin goes wrong. it all really comes down how much u know about computers

i think building on your own is better because if u like to upgrade in the future then it can be done easily whereas a branded computer cannot be upgraded that easily, i don't know why

I think that to build your own computer is better only if you're very skilled! Other way, if you don't need anything particular, it's better to buy one.

its better to built...cos we can hve the computer configration of our like n need...ex-i am a graphic designer so i need high speed for good graphic support n speed to process it faster...where as in any office where text work is there low configured pc will do! So we can built pc as per our requirements. if we buy computer there are lot of hidden prices. We also migh get what we dont require..by buiding we can definitely save some money. I prefer build.

building vomputer or bying it.. it's up to you.. for me i prefer to build it.. cause i prefer to customize my computer to have sufficiant RAM for example. another example, i don't need high VGA cause i don't play games,so i prefer to increase RAMs with the cost of high VGA. of course when u buy a computer u have dedicated one and a long warranty. so it's up to you..

it is better to build a pc.. you can choose the pc specs according to your needs and also u can do any service on your pc without asking the technicians (if you know how to :-D ).. also you can upgrade the pc according to your choice... Branded Pc's have certain limitations like.. you have to call the technician to service the pc if you do something wrong they will say it will make the warranty void and all like that so it is best to buy an assembled pc
