I'v had it for 20 years. Trust me the longer you have it, the less syptoms you will have. I'v heard that it eventually washes itself out of your system. Now if I have an outbreak it lasts maybe two days at the most and it's not severe at all. Acyclovir is good but Valtrex is the newer version. You can also try L-Lysine. All of these medications come in pill form and cream.

As i know there is no cure for herpes. Once you get it, you will have it for as long as you live.I have the same problem, every 2 months, i have herpes on my mouth. Is horible to have it, it last for a week at least and makes marks that will disapear after few weeks or so. I also use aciclovir and zovirax, but it only works if you start to use this medicine immediatly after first signs of herpes. If you want to know for sure, what type of herpes you have, you should make some tests in the hospital. Till than, hope you will not have it too often.

un herpes is the worst thing that a person can fight with i mean it just apears out of the middel of no were and sometimes with no aparent reason ....i sometimes get one and i dont know any remedy for it sorry...

You got me with this problem! Try to find out about herpes on the internet. You might find something useful. By the time don't stress too much and try not to eat :))))

Depending where you have, the best thing you can do is go see a doctor, they can tell you what you actually have. herpes also know as cold sore depending on where you have them, it can last as long as a month on it. the best way for it not to have an outbreak as offen, is not to over stress yourself. relax as much as you can, work out eat healthier food and make better choice, it help. if you need more imformation go to www.webmd.com it will tell you all you need to know. and if you need some thing to help fight it when you dont have anything on hand stop at walmart, they have something call the herplex. works good but not the best. I hope this help. also if you can get to a doctor, they can get you something call Famvir, it works great.
