I'm 52, am I too old to go back to college?

I had to leave when I was in my early 30s and now I need to finish a degree. But I dont know if I'm too old or not. Technology seems to have outrun me.

Going back to Regular college at this age might not sound good. Instead you can finish your degree on your desired subject by joining correspondance college. Modern technology is easy to understand, provided if you come out from your old and outdated beliefs.

A few years ago many jobs wouldnt look at a degree from a correspondence course. Maybe times have changed. Thanks.

Also you might consider online college classes. There is a difference between correspondance courses and online college. In todays world online college is supposed be considered almost if not as good as normal college, at least that is what they say. I'm taking Computer Networking and Security Management at ECPI online but haven't finished yet. But, I bet you could achieve anything if you put your mind to it. How much free time do you have? If you have enough time it could be a very cool experience to go to physical college. Meet some people, learn a lot and have fun! And, if you need help with the tech stuff I will be glad to help. Teaching others helps me learn. Any questions you may have feel free to send me a message. And, best wishes fullfilling your dreams!

Who says so? If you want to go ahead and join college, then you must. What you want to do, is for yourself, how can anybody else comment. what you do is your self will, how can anybody stop you. There is no end to knowledge, a full lifetime of studies can also not say that its now complete. In today's world of fast communication, and changing times, if you need to move with the world you have to equip yourself with knowhow and tools. As long as you are ready to make an effort, there should be no question of "can I?" Please go and do it.

You are never too old to get an education. Go back to college, if that's what you want.

go back sis, even if its only for your self worth. i know people who rack up degrees after degrees, and they dont utelize it. its the self satisfaction of setting out to do it, and completing it successfully. and like danishcanadian says, its never too late..never.

Your never too old or too young for education. We I first went to college I couldn't get over the different age groups there. They also had groups of people who were older to support each other.

That sounds interesting - age support groups. Worth looking into. Thanks.
