Why are some things considered to be racist and others not?

We are allowed to have Jet magazine, black history month, women's history month, NAACP, and many, many more organizations for people of other colors, races, and female gender, but when will be white male history month? Anymore, the white male are becoming the minority. Still white people are not allowed to say or do anything to defend themselves. Does all of this stem back to slavery? That was a long time ago, and people need to get over it. I never owned a slave, and neither has anybody I've known. I have never known anyone in current times to be a slave and neither has anybody I know. What was done was done, and none of us can change the past. Can't we all get over our bitter grudges and just move on with our lives?
