Should we be preparing for disasters?

Are you stocking up on food, wtr, household essentials? Do we need to be?

shoot, I cant even stock up on food I need for the month let alone if a disaster struck!

We live in Alberta Can. so many people don't stock up because they think disasters won't happen here. I believe having extras is smart but, just how much to stock up is new to me. Take care Starspottedhorse.

You should stock up anyway, disaster or not. You never know when a minor snag such as a power outage due to a snow storm will cause all the food in your fridge to go bad... you never know when you'll lose income, etc. Right now, I really only have stock in canned goods because I haven't had the money or the storage to stock anything else, but it's always good to have extras of as much as possible.
