Or are there certain ones I should definately stay away from? I work alot with photos and want to get into burning DVD's.

i totally do not know what you are talking about. If your doing alot of photots and burn lots of dvds... u might want a dvd burner in ur computer with a 100gig or more harddrive. You might also want a 128mb or higher video card to beable to hand all your video editing...try to go w/ a hp/compaq/dell. or build your own

Yes I have been checking into Dells and have an idea of how many gigs and things like that that I'm going to need. I more or less just wanted to know if anyone has had a bad experience with certains types of computers over others or if there is one that is better for working with photos and Dvd's. As of yet I haven't burned any DVD's because my computer doesn't have a DVD burner on it.
