Why are boys closer to their mother and girls to their father?

Ever notice the phrase mama's boy or Daddy's girl???? how come it is true in most of the cases??? Is the fact that opposites attract true??

because papa is paap and mama is mama understood

ya true. i donno the reason but yes, dads dote on their little girls. boys are always tied to their moms apron.
