I was a member of debate club, taking part in debates. In College, I was member of Table Tennis Club.

That is great. In school days, one finds a lot of time to do extra curricular activity and one should participate in such activities to gain more knowledge, friends etc.

I join History Club, girl's guide, Girl's Muslim Society, Badminton Club, Writing Club, Military Club and Knitting Club. From all of them the most interesting experience was when I join the Military Club. I forgot to wear socks and was punished by hanging a pair of sock on my neck, and I had to hug the lamp post for half an hour. Then I had to run around the field twice. It was hilarious to recall that incident.

I know the punishments are quite severe in military club. In our school days, we have NCC (National Cadet Corps) which was managed by military personnel and they were quite harsh in the name of discipline.
