I have this friend that I haven't seen in almost a year, and when I saw her she had lost like 40 pounds. I asked her how she did it and she was hesitant at first and then told me she was bulimic. I freaked out of course telling her how dangerous it was, and asked her if her husband knew. She said yes and that he was ok with this as long as she didn't get sick. I tried explaining to her that she was already sick and she needed to go rehab or something if she couldn't stop on her own. Husband supporting bulimia, can't be right?

Maybe her husband is unaware of how serious bulimia and other eating disorders are. Do you know him well enough to meet with him to talk with him about concern for his wife? You could point out factual information, including the facts that this could be life-threatening and that she needs to get into treatment.

Well my question is was she really big before or does the 40 pounds make her look sick. If she still looks health the husband probably doesn't think it is hurt her. if she does look sick both need to seek help!

What strange story. I think that bulimia is not the right path to lost kg.
