Why are girls always in competetion with each other???...?

and so often over a man!!!.........we think of men as the competeitive ones...and maybe in some respects they are...but with regard to matters of the heart most Girls are strangely and unneccessarily competitive with each other...why do you think this is?
i dont do competetion...but i find this behaviour curious...

I actually find myself competeing with other girls and comparing myself, and when I realize I'm doing this I don't understand why either. Why should I care what the other girl looks like a etc..etc. But I think it has a lot to do with today's society. You have to be thin, you have to be beautiful, strong, etc etc. So it puts a lot of pressure on girls to compete with their peers to be prettier, thinner, smarter. Unfortunately, that's how it is.
