Nucleus integration with Coppermine, has it ever been done?

Hi, I'm starting to discover the limitations of the Nucleus native gallery and would rather use coppermine since I use it elsewhere alot. Has anyone ever successfully integrated the two or is there a good way to do this? I thought of just using an Iframe and a static post to do it, but this seems kind of roundabout. It's for a personal site, single user, so not too worried if I have to log in twice to do different things. Any ideas? thanks,
