Football......... Why????

Am I the only person in the world who doesn´t like football or get excited about it?!!! 12 men kicking a bag of wind around!!! Also, racing!!! What is the DIFFERENCE between watch a race (cars not horses) and watching the traffic go up the motorway?!!!! I honestly do not understand the fascination with sports, competitive or otherwise.

You know what, you are not the only one, I just don't get into football, I can watch alot of sports on but the pigskin isn't one. Racing on the other hand I can sure handle, you might be alone on that one...Sorry.

pigskin is American "football"...whereas he was talking aout whate we call SOCCER.. soccer IS very boring...NFL football at least has the violence geared up a bit and more high flying passes and such for excitement...

I am English so we call it football. I understand soccer to be the US term. I had never heard of pigskin though! Interesting.

i am sorry but i have to disagree with you,although i am a girl..i don't watch internal matches but when the national team plays or when a team from my country plays against another country i become a huge fan and i am looking forward for every match..it's not only the game but also the fame of your country..yes i find it exciting!!

I totally agree with you dear. I dislike football and racing I see no point in either. But I do like watching my boys (meaning my guy friends) play football because they are too funny.

I don't get the football 'thing' either, and I'm from Texas where unfortunently this sport is almost a religion to some. As far as car racing, I swear I think most people watch it because of the wrecks...
