God has been described as everything from an impersonal life-force to a benevolent, personal, almighty Creator. He has been called by many names, including: "Zeus," "Jupiter," "Brahma," "Allah," "Ra," "Odin," "Ashur," "Izanagi," "Viracocha," "Ahura Mazda," and "the Great Spirit" to name just a few. He's seen by some as "Mother Nature" and by others as "Father God." God is the deity believed by monotheists to be the supreme reality. God is believed variously to be the sole creator, or at least the sustainer, of the universe.The majority of people in the world today believe in a monotheistic God, especially the Abrahamic God of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, although there are other monotheistic religions.

i would also prefer the version what is god.God is different for different people.Some cod as a power,some as a person.But the main similarity betweeen all of these is that their god has unnatural power, even if he is a man.this i donot understand how can a man have unnatural power?

You know I do not belong to any kinds of religions, but I belive in MY god. I think God is inside us. That is Your belief in yourself, your belief in others, your belief the power of love. Your 6th sense. I think people should know that when they pray they prey to the love what is inside each people. But unfortunatelly the most people think the GOD is somewhere far away, above the clouds. The people want help from a God, that is similar to OZ, the wizard. But God is not a tale, GOd is the power, that people forget about.

I guess this is really a hot topic to talk about. well its something which u cant make a person understand unless he believes it. we all believe that we are the son or daughter of our parents not by any proof we got but by our belief and because we have been seing them sice the day we were born. And so does a person believe and knows about god by his faith his thoughts and how he sees life..
