Hi, My husband and i are looking into Satelite T.v. We used to have Cox Cable and they began to charge for things that they had not stipulated beforehand, and just became dishonest, so we cancelled our service, so, we are thinking about satelite, but we have heard such negative things about it, that it is always going out, every time there is a storm.. is this true? please let me know your expieriences on whether i should get it or not.. THanks!

Now, with Satelite, do you have to install it yourself, or do they come and install it? and how would you know whether it is set up well or not?

I have satellite TV and I use the Pansat 2000A. It is a good machine, it opens me all sorts of channels, from PPV to sports network and to HBO and more. I have access to all the Dish Network. This reciever autoroll's by itself and it loads the new Keys automatically, I do not need to put key codes manually.

It works well. I use satelittle tv in my house. There's two kind satelittle tv. Paid tv and free to air tv. It's only going out in storm if you use KU band. But most channel in europe usually use KU band. In my country, Television use C band, because it has stronger signal tha KU band. Usually C band use in tropical country, like my country. Every people which use KU band must be get that problem. So, don't be afraid to use satelitte tv.
