Beatles to be on UK Stamps

Beatles Album Cover Stamps - The Beatles Stamps were unveiled today in the UK.

For the first time ever, the Beatles are going to be on officially issued UK stamps! The stamps are going to be of famous Beatles album covers. John,Paul,Ringo and George can keep an eye on your letter or bill!

Yes. I was surprised that this was the first time they have appeared on stamps authorized by the UK.

There are many stamps, from different countries, that show national celebrities that have had an impact on politics, arts or sciences. The Beatles therefore deserve to feature on UK stamps. How about Black Sabbath or iron Maiden now? ;)

Yes, that is true. However, I thought it was very strange that they had never been on a UK stamp before!

This means I'm going to have start mailing from the UK. ;) I think the US also should make Beatles stamps.
