I know I am about to be ready to quit smoking. I have quit before and ended up back at it again. I tryed the nicorette gum but it made me sick and I don't want to take an anti-depressant either. What worked for you?

When I quit over 30 years ago, I decided to buy one last pack and make it last as long as possible. In my mind, I knew that it would be the last pack of cigs I would ever buy. And it was. The problem with quitting smoking is mostly in your mind. Think ahead to 20 or 30 years from now and how much damage you will have caused to your body. If you can honestly think of anything good that can come from continuing to smoke, you need to change your thinking. Try to see yourself as a totally healthy person and know you are making an incredibly good choice to quit. You will never regret it.

thanks! wonderful way to look at it...I think that's why I posted this I do really think its time to quit obviously there is no benefit for continuing and I also figure I have been smoking now for over 1/2 my life so I do want to become healthier all they way around...thanks again!
