The Wedding? Big or small

I have a wedding date of 2/17/07. first we said let's just go to the court house and get it over with. after thinking about it, i would love to have a small wedding because i would love to have my family to be there for me. he is not as close to his family and would just prefer court house. do you think i should push for my family wedding, or just go for the shot gun?

My wedding was done on 02/02/2005 and it was very grand one.But personally i feel that a small wedding with our family is enough instead of wasting money in that.we can use the same amount for any other purpose but according to our custom i got married and no one listened to my opnion

I think it depends on how the both of yall feel about having a wedding and if your money is right.If i get married i think im to the court and then have a big reception.

our money is just ok. and as i said before we want to get our first home. i didn't want some wedding that would cost $50 or $60 grand. I didn't want to pay no more then $5,000. but i think we are going to just do the court thing and call it a lifetime.

honestly i can associate more with him. i feel the same way. go to the courthouse, and do it that way. that is my point of view. that is the way i would want my wedding to be when i do get married

I got a court house wedding, but that only gave more money for us for our reception.
At my wedding there was my husbands parents, my mom & a close friend of mine.
But our reception was filled with all our family, lots of fun, tons of food & 5 different wedding cakes including a grooms cake.

Congratulations! Wow, the big day is just a month away. My husband and I got married at the courthouse because he won a scholarship to go away to school and he wanted to get married before he went away. I kind of wish I was able to have a larger wedding, but we can always have a big renewal of vows party on our 10th anniversary or something.
