Thrifty - what I have developed into and it does save money. consumerism is not the way to love our land and keep it in a fashion to help it last longer for our children
Well I do not consume my products however I do use things wisely. Paper written or printed on one side and no longer needed is turned over and written on the other side for grocery lists etc. I have a container that takes soap slivers and make liquid soap to pump and wash hands with. Ink for my printer is sold to a site that refurbishes them. Not much money in that though, it is better than nothing like this site. We buy things in minimum packaging so we don't throw alot away. Anything in glass is used and the glass is washed for another use. Same with the plastic containers some foods come in. Milk jugs we use to get spring water from a small town a distance from us to water pets, plants and such. So we are thrifty. We make do, use it up, or do without!!
