Do bad responses get erased?

I was just checking through some of my discussions. Someone had cut and pasted some two-page wikipedia thing into one of my posts. This person didn't even take out the footnotes. I gave it a negative rating a few days a ago, and whoosh! tonight it was gone. Has this happened to you?

Yes, I reported somebody who just cut and pasted off another site and didnt even answer my topic and a few hours later, the response was gone. I think that people who just cut and paste are cheating and ruin things for others. I like to answer all topics in full. Thanks for the topic

I feel the same way. If I wanted information from wikipedia, I'd go there, you know? Besides i'm here to see how other people think. Thanks for replying!

well one bad response disappeared out of one of my discussions. Some guy cut and pasted something into a discussion, and I noticed tonight that his post was gone. I just wasn't sure how that happened.
