Do you have any New Year traditions?

Since my Mom is in US right now, I was assigned to do our family traditions.
1. Buy 12 variety of round fruits
2. Wrap 12 eggs in a red paper.
3. Scatter coins around and inside the house.
4. Open all windows and doors before the clock strikes 12 midnight.
5. Wear polka dots clothes.
They said that doing those things would bring properity.
