Would you join an online survey with paid membership or myLot?

Before I found out about myLot, I was thinking of joining a site with paid membership so that I could get access to their database.Also one of the reasons is that for every survey you answer, you can earn a minimum of $10 or get free items or products but I am still having doubts about it that's why I tried myLot first. Here in myLot, there is transparency about your earnings.You have an idea how much you earn by doing estimations depending on how much time you spend in front of the computer. I would like to know if anyone has tried the survey site wherein there's a paid membership.How was it like? Do they really send checks to people who do surveys for them?I am thinking of making this a fulltime job, What do you guys think?
